The adventure is underway for Boe, SmartyMeet's AI Recruiter, as it embarks on a transformative journey in the AWS & Anthropic GenAI Scale Program! This blog post marks the exciting beginning of Boe's participation, chronicling its experiences from the first in-person interactions to the current virtual learning phase.

But wait, there's more! In between all the learning, Boe even managed to squeeze in some London sightseeing. Amazing city!

A Kick-Off Filled with Promise

On Monday, July 15th, the program commenced with a dynamic kick-off meeting in London. This initial gathering provided a fantastic platform for Boe to connect with fellow innovators and industry leaders from across the EMEA region. We'd like to express our sincere gratitude to AWS representatives for their warm welcome and for making Boe feel right at home. The energy and enthusiasm at the kick-off meeting were truly contagious, setting the stage for a productive and collaborative program.

We extend our heartfelt appreciation to the entire AWS team for their dedication to fostering innovation through this exceptional program. Big thank You to Tricia Troth, Dona Haj, Tobias Halloran, Olimpia Calin, Mehmet Kaan Bozkır, Alex Matsuo, and Du Chen, Rebecca Harbeck from Anthropic. Their expertise and guidance are invaluable assets to Boe's journey, and we are confident that the knowledge gained will propel SmartyMeet's AI capabilities to new heights.

Expanding Knowledge at the AWS Office

After a dynamic meeting on Monday, July 15th, Boe had a productive follow-up day at the AWS office on Tusday.  A big thank you to Olimpia Calin, our fantastic host at AWS! Her warm welcome and in-depth knowledge of the program were invaluable in helping Boe feel comfortable and get the most out of the visit. This dedicated workday and workshops allowed Boe to gain hands-on experience and solidify its understanding of the program's core elements.

Transitioning to Virtual Learning

While the initial stages of the program boasted an in-person element, the subsequent workshops have transitioned to a virtual format. Over the past four days, Boe has been actively participating in insightful online sessions, all designed to empower Boe with the necessary skills to excel in AI development.
